The sandwich is made from you! You can choise to make a sandwich with only slices of mortadella or you can add other ingredients like burrata (an italian cow milk chees made from mozzarella), friarielli (vegetables), pesto or pistachio grain, caramelized onions and raisins, honey, ecc.
The baker will cut a nice piece of pizza, divide it into 2 in the sense of thickness and fill it with two or three beautiful slices of mortadella.

Despite prominently displaying a sign indicating they prefer cash payments, they were unable to provide change for a €20 bill. It was only after I explained I had no cash on hand that they reluctantly offered a card payment option.

This particular “pizza” bread is delicious. Many sandwich selections & the ability to build your own or modify the choices. Casual, just grab a table and flag down a server. The service was good, both workers were very nice to us tourists. View of Hadrian’s temple was awesome. Table was too thin and wobbly, and the bar stools were too small and tall.
