I really don’t like leaving negative reviews however we really did not enjoy our meals here. I lived in Italy for 18 months and have eaten at many traditional restaurants. All the reviews seemed amazing so we were excited however most of our dishes were extremely over salted or flavoured so heavily you couldn’t taste the produce. The truffle in the cacio e pepe con tartufo was so overpowering I could not finish it or even really taste the cacio e pepe. The pizza was like cheese on toast. The lamb al forno was so salty it was horrible. You could not taste the meat, all you could taste is salt. The risotto was very rich but good flavour. The cozze were fairly salty but still nice. I have absolutely no complaints about the waiters. All the staff were very friendly and did their best to help us have a good experience however it was the food that let down the experience for us. Forgive me for my honestly and hope it was just a one off. Unfortunately I won’t be back anytime soon nor would I recommend this...
Read moreThe wife and me just finished our main course. As the appetizer we had the Fraschetta's Appetozer starter, which consists of mixed assorted meats and cheese. To be honest, it started the greatest food related experience of our lives. As a starter it was enough for the two of us, could maybe be enough for 3 as well.
As the main course my wife had the Rigatoni alla carbonara with pistachio and zucchini.
I went with the lasagna.
let me tell you, with the great house wine and the uniqe atmosphere of this 5 star restaurant it was a defining experience of our lives.
All of the food was very well prepared and beautifully served with very welcoming and friendly staff.
the place was so crowded we had to wait for a table, but it was well worth it.
We were served by a very gentle and kind waiter called Mattia or Mathias, who we are eternally thanful for for the great evening.
I love Rome and I love this restaurant. I promiss I will come back and taste more of this great local italian cousine.

Read moreThis was one of the first places where we had dinner in Rome and it meant our trip was off to a good start. I ordered the gnocchi which was very creamy and filling whilst the rest of my family ordered pizza. The reason why this review is only 4 stars is because the vegetables on top of the pizza were not as fresh as we would have liked, it wasn't particularly noticeable but when compared to some other places in Rome it did seem to be a negative of this restaurant. The staff at this restaurant were very friendly and the service was quick which was very pleasant as we were still adjusting to the high temperatures of Rome and sat outside. Despite the fact that we were near a main road there was minimal noise from where we were sat with the decoration of the restaurant being quite nice too. I remember the prices for this restaurant were quite reasonable considering its location and generally in comparison to the other places we went to in Rome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to...
