The food: The chips/fries were literally air (see pictures). Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and fish & chips. The pulled pork sandwich was not that bad all things considered and the potato skins it came with were pretty decent too but the fish & chips were not all that. The fish was fine enough, flaky and battered while not being soggy but the chips/fries were totally hollow. There is video and photographic proof to show they contain hardly any potato. The atmosphere: It reflects how a typical pub should be, with wooden furniture and stuff aligning the walls. TV playing European news, not sports. Service: Fine, nothing bad.

Upon arriving in Rome, my friend and I wanted to grab a drink, and I thought I had been here previously, so we paid a visit. Long story short, it wasn’t the place I thought it was, but it was pretty good anyway. The pub has a nice outdoor terrace, but it was full and we stayed inside. They have a good variety of draft beers and drinks, the American barista was nice and friendly and prices ok, could be lower but we’re used to paying much for alcohol. Didn’t get any food, although I’d have appreciated a few chips or peanuts with our drinks. Overall a good pub worth visiting.

We went there to watch a match. Thank God we had made a reservation before using an app in the internet and calling in advance. It got full very quickly and many people just ended up standing with a beer in their hand while watching and talking. There was also a big queue at the bar for drinks. Our service was really fast though, we ordered nachos and Tennessee bbq ribs with chips. They were really tasty and yummy. The BBQ sauce wasn’t too sweet or artificial. The beers were also nice. Fair prices and a really cozy irish bar. Would come again for sure!!

I visited Trinity College Pub twice during my trip to Rome. The first time was pleasant, which made us come back. However, our second visit turned into a very unpleasant and disrespectful experience.

When we sat outside and wanted to order, a waiter with a rude attitude told us that if we wanted to pay separately, we had to go inside and order ourselves – which contradicted what we had been told during our previous visit.

Later, my female friend and I went to the downstairs restroom, each of us using a separate stall. While we were inside, someone knocked on our doors and we replied that they were occupied. While we were washing our hands, someone started aggressively banging on the main restroom door. Thinking something serious had happened, I opened the door – only to be yelled at in Italian by a staff member.

When I asked him to speak in English because we didn’t understand Italian, he accused us of locking the main restroom door – which we absolutely hadn’t. We were inside separate stalls, and the main door was clearly open since our individual doors had been knocked on. We tried to explain this, but he continued acting hostile.

One of the women who had knocked earlier actually tried to calm the situation and told him in Italian that everything was fine. Despite this, the waiter insisted, saying, “I don’t care – I received a complaint.”

He then escorted us back upstairs to our table and said, “Okay, now get up and leave. We won’t serve you anymore.”

I was shocked and tried to explain the situation to the bartender inside, but no one seemed to care or listen.

This was one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. I hope the management seriously looks into this. Travelers deserve respectful and clear communication, not aggression and...

I couldn't give 0 stars... we reserved well in advance to watch the football game at 9pm. The girl who took us upstairs had zero idea of anything... we said specifically in our reservation for 7pm that we were there to watch the game at 9pm. She placed us right underneath the TV... btw... this place only has 2 tv's. One upstairs and one down. I said to her that it's not going to work because as specified, we're here to watch the game. There was a perfect table available but she said she couldn't put us there. She went downstairs to talk to her manager. We stood there for about 10 minutes wondering what was going on. I finally went downstairs to ask and she still hadn't spoken to the manager. I asked to speak to him. He put us at a table that was right in the way of the serving staff as well as people hovering around the bar. No apologies, just told us to sit there. A bunch of people walked in and of course blocked our view for multiple minutes. I complained again.... the manager basically told me to screw off. Never have I seen such an unorganized restaurant.... AVOID AT ALL COST!! Super rude and most staff has no idea...

Nice looking pub, irish pub with no irish staff, Called in for a pint of harp, worst pint of harp ever poured, flat, no head, tasted like slops, complained to the girl, she wasn't interested unable to dink it so left it, gave the benefit of the doubt that not many people drink harp, ordered several rounds of spirit drinks, good value, we'll made, girl directed us to seats, spent two hours there, spending plenty of cash when the girl approached us and told us to get up from the table and leave as she had guests arriving, absolutely disgusted at this level of service, will not be returning due to the service received as it ruined a good night out. Other staff members...
