La Mela D'oro is a culinary gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm, inviting ambiance and a friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The menu is a delightful blend of traditional and innovative Italian dishes, each prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented beautifully. The flavors are rich and authentic, making every bite a memorable experience.

The pasta dishes are a standout, with perfectly cooked noodles and sauces that are bursting with flavor. The wine list is extensive and thoughtfully curated, offering the perfect pairing for every meal. The dessert selection is equally impressive, with a variety of delectable treats to satisfy any sweet tooth.

What truly sets La Mela D'oro apart is the impeccable service. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, La Mela D'oro provides an unforgettable dining experience that leaves you eager to return. Five stars...

An innocuous location for a restaurant with surprisingly authentic Italian specialities. Begin with antipasto de casa but request the addition of a bufala mozzarella and fresh ricotta. Then try the antipasto misto di mare a seafood starter. Make sure you include the crispy bread and the regular Italian bread. A must with the antipasto. Then go to a pasta under tipici typical Romani with a fantastic tonnarelli with artichokes and chunks of real bacon not the slices we are used to in the USA. A fantastic simple dish. Tonnarelli are thicker spaghetti. The last dish which rivals my mothers and maybe wins is a meat sauce with bechemil home made lasagna. Perfectly al dente pasta with an incredibly favorable meat sauce. All with a house liter of vino Verdi with just a little bubble lighter than s Prosecco. Finish with a Torta Moretto chocolate tort and a doppio espresso. Start walking the nearby Spanish Steps! Giorgio the owner is gracious and the staff is engaging. We tried to be good and had the strawberries with panne...

The girl that was our server was very pleasant. The food though... was unfortunately bad. Poor quality and a tourist destination. Shame on us for not really noticing the signs. Menu in English, check. Pizza with pineapple, no Italian would dare! Burrata that's not fresh, not that it was bad, we wouldn't have eaten it if course, just bad quality and lacking the texture and moisture that it must have. The crust was a happy surprise though. Different texture than most pizzas around. Though the lasagna was good, it was good in the sense it's good to eat, but not to eat in Italy. Yes, the region of Bologna for lasagna but you must expect better than a store-bought flavor for lasagna. There's nothing wrong with those. If you like those, you'll be ok with this lasagna. I'm just saying you shouldn't expect authentic food. Very polite and nice service from our lady server, but with...

What a little gem this is. Authentic Italian food in an authentic Italian Taverna where Italians choose to eat! On arrival we were greeted very warmly by a lovely, friendly waitress and given the choice of a table. The establishment had an extensive wine list at reasonable prices. The waitress helped translate the menu and the meanings of the first main, second main etc which was really helpful. We had the spaghetti bolognese and the Carbonara which were the tastiest we had had anywhere! We then shared a second main (that's what you can do apparently) of the Roman Style Chicken which again was beautiful. We finished with the Cherry Gelato and Torta Della Nonna, a coffee and a complimentary Limoncello. People came and went and we were made to feel very welcome. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable we thought. Highly recommended!

What an amazing place for lunch. Food was really tasty but what really made it for us was the service honestly would give more stars for service if we could. Our little boy got upset inside after our food arrived and the staff quickly found us a table outside and moved all or food outside really lovely staff couldn't fault them. Noticed that they had a good choice of gluten free food didn't affect us on this trip but we have booked marked the restraunt for when we are back next year with our daughter. The salmon was amazing perfectly cooked would highly recomend. The views outside stunning a lovely place for lunch and cant wait to be back

We came here after the Coloseum hoping to eat a nice and tasty meal but we were disappointed when we got our food. The starters like the fries and the bread were ok but the 2 pizzas we ordered (the sausage and mushroom pizza and capriciosa) were horrible. The bread used was dry and crusty, very thin, the pizza with the sausage had very little taste and was cold, while the other pizza had a bit more flavour. Over all the pizzas were very thin and didnt really taste like pizza. The staff on the other hand were very nice. They can speak a bit of english and are very welcoming and pleasantly nice. The interior also looking nice and cozy.
