I'm following the comment of Maxime Blaise, as I was the other one at the table. First, please calm yourself, no one needs to "Penso che lei dovrebbe sciacquarsi la bocca prima di parlare di noi italiani", we were not the people whom receive the wrong food before complaining about the salmon, we were the table right next to them. About that, I have to say that everybody is entitled to their taste, and it's a bit rude of you to respond like you do in any negative comment that you receive. Yes, I read all the comments, and when something is wrong, it's NEVER your fault and people are lying. A lot of people are lying about you apparently.
Anyway, what we didn't like was about the price at the end with 3 items. First, I ordered the Beef slice at 16 euros, and I received the other beef meal, at 20 euros. I didn't realize at the moment, because the only difference that I could have seen at the moment were the tomatoes, and I didn't. It's weird that the error is to serve a ressemble meal but more expensive... Good move. Second, we took 2 greek salads, wich were marked at 8 euros on the menu that you gave us this day, so not one that we could find on the internet, but they were factured 9 euros each on the final check. Maybe because we asked without the olives, I don't know... And finally, at the time to pay, the waiter asked us 76 euros. He tried to do it without contact (by card) without showing me the amount that was showed on the device. It didn't work. Then I did it the old way, by insering the card, but he was talking to me at the same moment, so I didn't look. He gave me the receipt and go, and OH, suprise, he just charged me 78 euros without telling me, no advertising about the "vitrine charge", not by him, not on the the menu, and we didn't take any bread, so where did the 2 euros came from?
Part of this is my fault for not being attentive enough, or too nice too say something at the moment because, like I told my boyfriend, I did eat the food that I paied for and the supplement on the salad could be considered as a tip because the waiter was apparently nice, I did liked the beef and the decor was beautiful, but it was indeed disonnest of you.
Go ahead and call me a liar or uneducated if you want (like you like to do when you don't like a comment), but I do comment here to warn other people and support my boyfriend that you insulted, not to please you. I don't want to please people that steal from...

My friends were very impressed!! The food and service were once again 5 stars! I cannot say enough good things about the quality and presentation. The owner was there and stopped at every table to welcome his guests. They were very busy and he stepped in to support his staff. We had several dishes, I had the Roman Zucchini Tartare w/Smoked Salmon & Burrata again, and literally could eat this every day. More pictures below!
There are times in life that things just align, and Margot's Restaurant and my waiter Aszis was one of those instances! I had a delicious dinner which was relaxing, fulfilling leaving me feeling more than grateful. If you are in Rome and in the Prati area near the Vatican then I highly recommend you take a moment to bask in the ambiance and amazing food and service! I had the Roman Zucchini Tartare w/Smoked Salmon & Burrata; Walnut pasta w/black truffle and a side dish of olives which was perfect! My waiter Asziz made me feel right at home, and eating alone was not awkward as he checked on me consistently. AM inviting my friends to dinner...
Read moreThe Christmas day set menu was €22/pasta a d €22/main...and it was trash. I don't use the word lightly, it felt they literally pulled left over from other diners and gave it to us.
The service was even worse. The waiter was very rude and very short tempered with us. Not helpful when trying to select something from the menu and just a rude person that should not be in the service industry. At the end of the meal, he threw the bill down on my table.
My wife ordered a pasta dish that was undercooked and tasted like it was rushed out. I ordered the lamb and it was mainly bones and dried out meat for €22 for three bites. The meat was so hard that it was difficult to pierce with a fork.
This restaurant doesn't sell food, it sells trash for a high price. Avoid this place at all costs, do not make the same mistake as us. Confirmed with the table next to our who were from Brazil confirmed the food was just trash. Don't know who are these people who gave the five stars... probably the restaurant owner's friends.
Our total bill came to €47 for two plates of inedible...
