Mexican Jungle — Restaurant in Rome

Writing this as soon as I left, I Came here on vacation and I will say save your money and time and avoid this place. The service was terrible as the server didn't get our orders correct. Me and my friend ordered sparking water and he gave us one small bottle with no cups. We then asked for a cups but no ice like seriously ridiculous. After we ordered our main course the meat for the shared meat platter half of the steak I ate was just full of fat no meat at all. Nobody comes around to check on you we then ordered margaritas which was just water basically no flavor at all what so ever. As A bartender I felt offended for this. After we ordered a beer and a coke cola and it took 13 mins and still didn't have our drinks as it is hot. So we asked for our check the waiter was really rude saying we can wait but we felt it was already more than enough time waiting and we wanted him to bring the check. After he got a real nasty attitude and started mumbling under his breathe talking about us in His language after. My friend stood up and walked to go to the front to pay as the waiter just pointed us at the middle. Before I can even grab my things to stand up he approached me after and said stand up and go with such an attitude and continue to talk bad about us under his breath out loud at us because I don't understand the language but my friend did as he said we was wasting his time and we was poop heads. My friend told me after as he known if I would understood I would have yelled at him back. Please anyone going forward avoid this place service is horrific and I felt like you could have a much much better experience in another place where you are treated like a customer instead. I don’t know where to begin. This restaurant was the worst food and experience I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was to a minimum. No way anyone enjoyed this place. The atmosphere, menu, and service is completely misleading. The menu is nothing like Tex-Mex food what so ever. Don’t even bother trying to figure that one out. I can name something wrong with every dish on the menu and yes I’m being very serious. Every single dish is off, completely off. The service was horrible. You know it’s bad when you say I want a specific item from the menu and the waiters have no idea what that is until they look it up on their machine to take your order. That’s embarrassing please train your employees better. The food absolutely disgusting it had no type Texas, Mexican flavor to it. They have no idea what a taco even looks like when you ask them. The entire restaurant is very misleading in so many ways. The atmosphere is cool from the outside and then you are there realizing they are playing spa music while cooking up your Indian spiced chicken (curry flavored) in the back. The staff was very kind and friendly, nice location by the Tiber river but the food, oh my God the food was horrible! This is not Mexican place, this is an Italian piadina place disguised as Mexican. We order vegetarian so we were ready not to have the best effort food but the burrito and the quesadilla we're just cheese wraps with aubergine and courgette. Rice on the side (dry because blasted in the microwave), salad on top of the wraps and polenta. The quesadilla was only cheese and 4 jalapeños. Something went wrong here for sure. I'm not sure if the rest of the food is this bland and prepared with 0 care but please do think about training your kitchen staff appropriately or rethink about the food your going to serve because it was definitely not worth the 55€ we spent.
