Brought here for our first Italian lunch under an SG tour package. Overall mildly disappointing as I know Italy has more to deliver in terms of food 🤌

First appetiser was crostini. Bread was a little too hard to cut through but went okay with the cold cut meat. Second appetiser was a simple tomato pasta topped with parmesan. Couldn’t figure out what kind of pasta noodles it was – thicker than spaghetti and kinda chewy, but without a central hole like in bucatini 🤔 Anyway, there was sliced bread served for us to eat with the pasta, though I found it a strange pairing (carb overload). The pasta was exceedingly plain due to the limited ingredients (basically noodles + tomato sauce + cheese).

The main was pork slices, which interestingly enough was drenched in a sauce that tasted like a Chinese-style chicken dish to me. These were not bad. A side of salad was included but it was hella bitter

Horrible service and staff. We were walking back to our hotel after our tour at 15:00. We wanted 2 alcoholic drinks and some appetizers as we were going to be going for dinner somewhere else at 18:30. We sat down and placed our order and were told we had to order more. We explained we don’t want a full lunch we just want drinks and apps and he told us no we had to order more, which we didn’t want. We said then that we would go somewhere else and I took out my phone to look at our map. The owner proceeded to yell at us and shove chairs in front of us to ensure we weren’t standing a centimetre on his property while we looked at our map. Incredibly rude and disappointing experience. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. There are so many other wonderful...

Food was okay, but I had my Louis Vuitton stolen from underneath my table and I was outside against the wall. My wife and I never left the table, but I believe this place had something to do with it. The waiter dropped several glasses and made quite a commotion, which is when I think someone from the restaurant took my satchel. Lost a few hundred Euro, credit cards, driver license, etc. The staff made a huge ordeal and was telling each that someone came from the street and stole my stuff. They said they would have the police come, but after awhile said I would need to travel a ways to report it. It all appeared fishy. Can’t prove it, but wanted...

The place was near some tourist attractions so we have it a try. The food was good, the coffee as well. We were seated immediately since we were the only one there. One thing you need to watch out is that one of the plates, they brought them twice. I am not sure if it is to try to sell you another plate or by error. But I read the same thing from others reviewing this business as well. When we got the bill, they billed us twice for the extra plate that we returned and let them know and they removed it. Be on the look out on your bill since tourist usually forget to review bill and just pay for it.

Operates like a tourist trap restaurant, but without the desirable location. Pasta arrived cold, yet overcooked and chewy. They presented single espressos as doubles (perhaps thinking we wouldn't know the difference). Pushy assumptive tip presentation with the check. Before the experience above, I had ordered carry out pizza and I found it acceptable, but unremarkable. I added a star to my initial rating in consideration of that.
