Pane pane vino ar vino — Restaurant in Rome

Seeing the reviews we thought that this would be a fab place to grab some lunch on a busy day. Although we are in the hight of the tourist season the place was empty. Although the man was lovely the food came out and was not good. We both had burgers and they were in supermarket buns and quite frankly not worth the price (for example the chedder was not proper chedder but instead the 'plastic' cheese slices from the shop).

My partner went to the toilet (which you have to walk through the kitchen to get to) and said that she saw little to no cookers, only microwaves and george forman grills.

I hate to leave bad reviews but we felt it is important to portray what our experience was considering it did not come close to the 4.8...

I will start my review with one word..... WONDERFUL, MAGNÍFICO.

We entered this local during a strongly rainy day, after being recommended to come here by a guru walker. The owner of the restaurant is a nice, lovely person, who welcomed us with a great smile and amazing recommendations as well. His English was perfect and made everything easier.

The establishment is neat and beautifully decorated, very roman-like. The products seemed highly fresh and the dishes were extremely tasty. The pizza bread was awesome, the porschetta (pork), ham, burrata.... try everything.

I’m basing this review strictly on my experience today. I visited Pane Pane Vino Ar Vino in Rome and found the food truly excellent. I had a carbonara pasta that was both delicious and fascinating in flavor, while my wife enjoyed a wonderful lasagna. The pricing was very affordable given its central location in Rome. In short, it was a marvelous experience.
