Beware of these hustlers. We came for pizza, and no doubt, it was very good. However the service disappointed. What started off as friendly turned into quite a few upsales and extra "recommendations". For example, we did not initially want bruschetta, but the lady suggested we try it. Sure. And for the pizza, some of us wanted plain margherita for €7, but we were hustled into spending €10 to change the mozzarella to bufala. Alright, we thought, it's nice that they encourage us to try new things. But we spent over an hour waiting for our pizza! Every time that we asked the waitress how soon they would be ready, we heard "it's coming". We watched people who walked in at the same time as us and some who ordered later than us get their pizzas before us. Perhaps they forgot about us sitting in the corner? Or is it something about tourists? Another sticking point was them offering us more beer as soon as we'd finished our glasses. We politely declined. By the time the pizza finally arrived we were starving and it did undeniably taste good. When we went to pay, we asked why our pizzas took so long, and whether we could get a discount for the delay. They agreed to take the bruschettas that they upsold us off the bill. Alright. And then they had the nerve to ask us as we were leaving to write them a good Google Maps review in return for the discount! Frankly disappointing. The best Pizza restaurant in town . I want to share my story because of their hospitality and wonderful service I came back after a year . It was my last day in Roma before going back to Dubai in 11th of OCT 2021 I passed by this amazing restaurant and I wanted to have a coffee as take away . The guy told me no we don’t have then I said I will have it here with anything sweet he told me we are closing in 10 minutes I was there at 02:20 PM I said I will be quick as I didn’t have my breakfast yet. Then the guy said please wait then he came to me and said “ you can order whatever pizza you want as I spoke to my colleague the chef to wait for you since you didn’t have your breakfast and it’s your last day in Roma “ I was surprised with that kind of amazing Italian hospitality. I ordered Salsiccia pizza if I do remember that it is the core one and it was super delicious. In 6th of Dec 2022 I can back to Roma as a tourist and I went again to my favorite restaurant “Pizzium” Staff are absolutely welcoming and nice . I think they are cooking pizza with love .I ordered Napoli pizza and As I could resist their pizza I ordered one Margarita take away . They told me we are waiting for you next year in 2023. I’m sure I will come again to your lovely restaurant. I highly recommend it. I still remember the taste of their delicious pizza in my mouth. We visited right at opening and were seated right away. The hostess greeted us warmly and offered an English menu, which was much appreciated. As we walked in, both the hostess and the gentleman making the pizzas smiled and greeted us, which added a nice, friendly touch to the experience.

There were lots of pizzas to choose from, and we liked the QR code linking to their Instagram so we could see photos of the different options. We started with the classic Neapolitan pasta fritter, which were just okay, but the Basilicata pizza we shared was unique and really nice to try. The crust was cooked perfectly, light, airy, and crisp.
