I wanted to visit this place yesterday and I asked the guy at the entrance of the museum specifically for the terrazza. He told me to buy a ticket for the museum to get to the terrazza. So I bought the ticket, went in and then they told me the terrazza was closed and that I could get my money back, because I went in for the terrace specifically and they couldn't provide the service. So I went to the ticket office immediately (I was in the museum for 10 minutes, you can see that on the ticket) and asked for my money back and the guy refused and told me that the museum is open and that they are not paying me back my money, which I spent for nothing. I didn't care for the museum and at the entrance, where I asked for the terrazza they told me to buy the ticket, knowing it was closed. The museum is not worth the 15€, because the Louvre costs that much and you could spend the whole day at the Louvre and at least see famous paintings. This people tricked me into buying the ticket, this is so rude, ridiculous and unbelieveable, I would never reccomend this place to anybody. This is not how money...
Read moreIt was just the right day to drop into the caffe for a late afternoon coffee and dessert. Cafe latte 2euro (yes, they gave me a hard time about the milk after noon) and a nice little piece of delicious chocoate cake. There were so many dessert choices that it was a very hard decision. Hardly anyone there because most don't know about it. Yay! for me. There is a section that is covered for when it's sunny and a section with sofas for hanging. The only bad part is no food or drink on the terrace. Guess it's too time consuming to do the clean up. The staff was very swanky. I felt I was being served by the staff of Downton Abbey. Way too discreet to make fun of me, but yet.... I had fun with them and hopefully, they did with me. Life's short. Make people happy even when it's just getting a coffee and treat. They...
Read moreI visited this place twice.
First time on 15 August: everything went well. The staff was very nice. I just took a coffee on the bar and I liked it.
Second time on 21 August: I decided to sit outside and enjoy the view. I arrived at 5:50 PM. I ordered at 6:00 PM and waited 8 mins for one aperol spritz and one berries cheesecake. Then I received the bill (without asking for it) at 6:15 PM. I asked if it is true that they close at 7:00 PM. The waiter told me I have to leave at 6:50 PM. A security guy from the museum came at 6:40 PM and told me that I have to leave in 5 mins. Also, I would expect better salty snacks served with a 12 € aperol.
I really didn´t enjoy my aperol spritz and the view...
