If you’re a true dessert enthusiast, let me introduce you to the best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted, which you absolutely must try when in Rome, Italy. At Two Sizes, a cozy and charming dessert shop in the heart of the city, tiramisu takes center stage and completely redefines this classic Italian dessert. Their tiramisu is a masterpiece: perfectly creamy mascarpone, rich coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and a delicate dusting of cocoa come together in perfect harmony. Each spoonful melts in your mouth, offering a balanced, indulgent flavor that is simply unforgettable.
What makes Two Sizes stand out even more is their creative twist on desserts. One of their most popular offerings is the Pistachio Tiramisu, a delightful spin on the traditional recipe. The creamy pistachio layer adds a nutty sweetness that elevates the dessert to another level. It’s smooth, rich, and satisfying without being overly heavy—truly a must-try for anyone who loves pistachios.
The name Two Sizes reflects their unique approach: you can choose between two portion sizes, making it the perfect stop whether you’re in the mood for just a little sweet treat or a full-on indulgence. The friendly staff, the cozy atmosphere, and the passion for crafting unforgettable desserts make this spot an essential part of any visit to Rome. If you’re exploring the city, don’t leave without experiencing the magic of their tiramisu—it’s a slice of...
Read moreYes, you may have to stand in a queue. But don’t be surprised, it’s not gonna take that long and most probably it could be one of those fastest ones that may experience.
We tried the “Classic” and the “Pistachio”, and both were equally nice and neatly filled up in a little cup, for enjoying easy and quick bites. The texture was consistent and the coffee dose was moderate while the sweetness was balanced. I rate them 4 out of 5 (see the last statement).
For note, I tried the tiramisu prepared by the Chef, whose grandmother was the inventor of the original recipe. It was great and traditional with good presence of the espresso (via the Mocha, not the machine). And the one prepared by this shop, is positively another nice evolving version, bravo!
Yes, I’ll return whenever back to Rome and I must admire the speed and efficiency of the hard working team members, and wish the best for this shop and thanks to the owner.
Lastly, please have a close look at the photo and see how the staff were happily working and smiling to their customers. How much this happiness worth…well, a lot in today’s commercially-driven market. For those smiles, I rated the shop with 5 stars!
Well done to the team and thanks...
Read moreThe two size spot is very small and sometimes the line forms outdoor but it’s okay because it moves quickly. They have two different sizes of tiramisu with different flavors and two different sizes cannoli. I loved the tiramisu and the cannoli !! It was very fresh, sweet, tasty, and cheap. We went twice during our trip, the first time the customer service was very welcoming. The second time we went at night and it was a nice line but we only waited for 5 minutes. My boyfriend really wanted the cannoli but as you can see in the video there weren’t any. When I tried to ask if there were anymore the lady in the video, was very dismissive and I felt like she had an attitude towards us. She had a smile with everyone else before us so I kind of felt upset that we were treated a bit different. I seen that there were cannolis in the fridge but she said it was fake. I’m not sure why would they have fake cannolis in the fridge. It made me not want to return the third time. So we decided to get cannoli elsewhere. Other than I do like this place but not the customer service from that lady. This place is very delicious for something...
