Amazing café in Ortigia! We came here multiple times, once to eat in (coperto is 50 cents) and many times for takeaway! Would recommend to anyone, absolutely lovely staff, great coffee (with soya milk too) and would definitely recommend the granita, we tried all of the flavours and they are amazing! (Especially peach and pistachio) Also had the margarita pizza twice and an arancini which was also incredible.

The view is awesome but the customer service was very deceiving. As I paid at the end the cashier told me want seemed like a random number (8€), I looked at the prices on the wall and asked her if there was a mistake and she told me that the prices were not the same outside as inside. The 8€ doesn’t bother me, but I juste felt that they up their prices for tourists.

Has a very nice view and overlooking the sea and the Fonte Aretusa as well. People there are very nice and welcoming. Their local beer is a must try as it is chilling and refreshing in the very hot weather of summer. Their cannoli tastes amazing and also so fresh. Highly recommended for a relaxing time after a long day walking under the sunny summer.

Tired to rip us off by charging for a cannoli and a bottle of water. How did we know? The second it came out of our mouthes, the waitress (black hair, purple/pink new balance shoes with dark rim glasses) immediately took off those charges. What do you know - we’re Chinese as well, but little did she know we weren’t non-English speaking idiots who can play the Sicilian game right back at you. Otherwise they were out of granita, brioche and several other items. The gelato we got had artificial flavoring without the actual fruit or real flavor. Oh also - we could sense she was joking with the other Italian patrons about us looking dumbfounded at the menu. Microaggression isn’t that hard to pick up - clearly you don’t know what that means so if you’re reading this, try going to the library one time...

We had lunch here as it was recommended by our tour guide of the day, because he said they had really good Arancini. We got the prosciutto Arancino, the mini pizza, one of the sandwich’s, a Fanta, and a glass of wine for about 15 Euros. All of it was amazing and so good that we also got the lemon and strawberry Granita as well as the stratticella and amarena cherry Gelato. The service they provided was amazing, super friendly and happy to help. Most spoke a bit of English, while one server was very fluent and helpful. I enjoyed my glass of wine so much, I got a second glass and bought a bottle. If we were here for more than one day, we would definitely have...

Would recommend as a stop over. We had Frappes - which are milkshakes. On the pricey end at €4 each and relatively small in size but WOW the taste was incredible. They use their gelato and it honestly tastes just like blended gelato in a drinkable consistency. Very much worth it. We also bought 1L bottle of water and at €3 for 1L, we appreciated not being ripped off (have paid €5 before…). We sat in their air conditioned room which was definitely a good thing in the 32 degree day. Would highly recommend...
