Hong Kong - Cucina Autentica — Restaurant in Turin

Tried this new Chinese restaurant out with a friend from Hong Kong. We picked out a dish from each category to have an idea. HK Iced tea was not available that day. The 腐皮卷 was not bad, but we didn’t appreciate the steamed charsiu Cheongfun being served almost cold. The meat inside was also a bit too fat. The Bifengtang Crab was over fried and was served with breadcrumbs instead of garlic. The steamed pork ribs were probably the best dish of the lot. Would need to return to try the rest of the menu to be able to better judge the restaurant. The Chinese staff did not look like they could speak Cantonese though. The decoration was bright...

Siamo stati questa sera a cena in 4, siamo partiti con grandissime aspettative, (io tra l’altro di ritorno da HongKong da poco). abbiamo ordinato diverse cose: Anatra stile Hong Kong (18€!), pancetta glassata, maiale bbq, zuppa wanton, bao, ravioli alla piastra e ramen di anatra… Siamo rimasti delusissimi, l’anatra è arrivata fredda a tutti e due, era una porzione veramente misera, molto secca e anche le crepes erano freddissime, per quella cifra siamo rimasti veramente delusi. Il ramen non sapeva veramente di nulla, il bbq maiale secchissimo e anche questo una porzione minuscola. L’unica cosa che si è salvata è stata la pancetta che devo dire che era molto buona e si scioglieva in bocca, molto saporita. Il bao anche buono e pure i ravioli alla piastra non erano male. Visto quello che abbiamo pagato ci aspettavamo un pochino di più, sia a livello di qualità sia a livello di servizio. In casa abbiamo anche riferito i nostri dubbi soprattutto sull’anatra fredda ma non c’è stato un minimo gesto di rimedio da parte loro. In ultimo hanno anche avuto dei problemi con il pos e mi volevano fare pagare due volte anche se nella app della mia banca risultavano usciti e mi hanno anche sbagliato a mettere la cifra del coperto (3€ a persona invece di 2€)… Purtroppo non torneremo più e non lo consiglieremo nemmeno, la location anche è molto carina ma la qualità prezzo e il servizio non ci siamo proprio. Coming from Hong Kong this place is the closest you can get to authentic Cantonese food. The dumplings were very authentic, the Singapore fried noodles were amazing, very much like you get in Hong Kong, the beef noodles were also very authentic.
