Gam Gam Goodies — Restaurant in Venice

GamGam Goodies is a high-standard, kosher-certified spot-Cholov Yisroel and Pas Yisroel-offering pizza, falafel, authentic in-house-made gelato, snacks, and kosher basics like cold cuts, Bissli, milk, breakfast bars, and cereal. The pizza is delicious, with optional toppings like mushrooms, onions, or green olives (my personal favorite). The falafel is served in freshly baked pitas, and the Israeli salad, tuna, scrambled eggs, and Italian cheese selection are always amazing.

There's also a wide variety of freshly baked pastries, including hamentashen and chocolate crinkle cookies-strongly recommended! Pitas are baked on-site and always fresh. Since it's take-out-only with no seating inside, most people eat on a bench in the nearby Ghetto square or bring their food to the Chabad House, about a three-minute walk away.

Everything is kosher mehadrin. Availability may vary, so it's always a good idea to double-check what's in stock when you go. During the summer, they're open after Shabbat. Really worth the trip to Venice just...

So grateful Gam Gam Goodies exists! It’s the only “dairy” kosher in Venice. They have some gelato, a fridge section of some pre packaged kosher grocery goods (like salami, cheeses etc), wine and snacks. This is a take away place, you order and go, but sooo good! We got pizza after Shabbat (which was totally worth sending my husband while I stayed in the Airbnb with our sleeping toddler) and in the morning got a breakfast pita with fresh pita. The dough is made in house in front of you and it is a delicious! The cookies and baked goods are also amazing. They are recipes from the Rebbetzin of the community...

They take advantage of the fact that you have no other place where to eat kosher so there is only one type of breakfast. Egg scrambled eggs with cabbage and carrots without flavor and without spice and potato cooked on the toast with pita. And all this at € 7.5 that doesn't justify the price at all.
