Please don’t visit this restaurant unless you are confident that you will not get fooled. I ordered a bottle of Prosecco and the server gave me Lambrusco di Sorbara, which is much cheaper frizzante wine. I asked him if he knew that the bottle he provided wasn’t Prosecco, and he answered it’s “Prosecco Rosso”. When I heard the stupid answer, I thought the server simply had no knowedge about wines at all, so I didn’t say anything more and just drank it, because I thought they were selling frizzante wines as Prosecco to everyone. (He even pretended to double-check with another colleague about the wine when I asked him.) After I paid the full price of the fake Prosecco, I found that a real Prosecco was being exhibited at the exit of the restaurant for sale. I realized that it was me being fooled by the server. Putting aside that the server never gave us a plate of bread, which was interestingly served in all other tables, I decided I will never come to this...

I ordered their fries and mushroom pasta. They gave me the fries at a proper time but the fries were large, unsalted, and overall not tasty. After 20 minutes of waiting (during a non-busy time) I asked about my pasta and the waiter told me they forgot to make it. So I had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be made. They didn't offer me anything to make up for my time lost, just a simple sorry from the waiter.
A can of coke to go is 2.5 euro, but If you order any drink while sitting down they charge you another 2 euro on top of that (and no, I don't mean the table charge, which is separate). 4.5 euro for a can of coke is RIDICULOUS, but not as much so as them forgetting to make my food and not making amends. Plus, no one working is Italian, the food didn't...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant during our visit to Doge’s palace. This place is perfectly located near Rialto bridge area. The place was spacious and had ample sitting. It was not busy when we went there but got almost full. The server was extremely helpful and gave us good recommendations. We ordered different kinds of pasta, some seafood plus meat and seafood platter. The Italian special drinks were also economical. The food came in quickly and the quantity was perfect for the price. Surprisingly the food was not that expensive as we were expecting given it was right in the center of Rialto area plus near to St Mark’s Square. The food was delicious as well. A hidden gem; would definitely...
