Gastronomia Stella — Restaurant in Verona

Overpriced = Overrated! Three stars for the food variety but the rest of the service was very poor! Not enough sitting space available, no one came to greet us as we walked in, the portions were extremely small! Wouldn’t go there again. Part 2 - after my review I have received a message from the gastronomia Stella (see pic). I am happy that they have replied, however the sarcasm in which is written was extremely unnecessary since I am reviewing their establishment based on my own experience! Their reply focuses solely on their food and completely disregards the fact that no one really acknowledged we were waiting to be served, there was no sitting available and the portion sizes were incredibly small for the price! If you charge 9€ I’d expect more than 1 bite! Finally, the person who replied to my review mentions that its high price is because the food is so fresh, but I’m actually paying for the full service, the food did taste fresh, however I had to eat it standing outside on the street because there is no sitting, and it took about 20 minutes until someone asked me if I was being served and there wasn’t even any queue! Because of their reply I have actually dropped their stars from 3 to 2 because I believe that if I am providing them with feedback the least they should do I asking me for more information without getting all defensive and...

We just went in to buy a couple of olives because the sign in the window said they were 2.30 euro per kg. We asked for about 100 grams and the price in the end came to nearly 7 euros. we tried to argue with the employee that the price was not in correlation with what the sign said but they would not listen. also the women working in the store was very rude. She said the price for the olives where in fact 23 euro per kg which is NOT what the sign said. Don‘t be fooled, the olives may look tasty but are extremely expensive and don‘t even taste good!!!!!!!!!!!...

My wife and I were in Verona visiting from the United States and wanted to find some Parmesan cheese to bring back to the states. This place had amazing service despite us having a language barrier they were super friendly and we got through it.The man working there was an amazing host, offering us each a free glass of wine and some dried mozzarella drizzled with balsamic vinegar while they vacuum packed our cheese and some delicious pork we sampled.
