Had dinner here near the Verona Arena and overall, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the carbonara, which cost €16 — a great price, especially in Verona where it’s hard to even find carbonara on the menu, let alone for that price. And it was delicious, honestly worth every euro. The atmosphere was also lovely — you’re sitting right by the Arena, which really adds to the vibe.

However, the strawberry drink (Garnite on menu) I ordered was disappointing — basically just syrup at the bottom of a glass with a bunch of ice thrown on top to make it look like more. And that was €5. Not terrible, but definitely not worth the price.

Service was okay, but there was an awkward moment when my boyfriend went to pay — the guy at the counter just stared at him while chatting about something completely irrelevant with another man, ignoring him completely. Eventually, the woman who served us stepped in and handled the payment. Not a huge issue, but definitely unprofessional.

Still, the food and the view made it a solid experience overall.

Also, service and cover is also...

We ordered 2 margherita pizzas, and two pasta dishes. Food was decent. Nothing to shout home about but I'd say a solid 3.5 or 4 out of 5. We were given some bread and there was olive oil and vinegarette on the table already. We noticed that with the food they brought us our receipt. It was conspicuously placed on the table. We figured it was a mistake because we were going to order deesert. However, the waiter came, took our food and came back asking for the money. We were never asked for dessert. Not a big deal.

What was really unforgiveable was the 10 euros we were charged for bread, olive oil and vinegarette that we never touched. When the bread was brought to us we directly asked if it was complimentary and the waiter said "yes, it's included." Even worse was the waiter's attitude in explaining why the cost existed, he even as far as suggesting that we were paying for the table cloth and napkins (that's a ridiculous suggestion because that's the cost of doing business included in the cost of the dish) along with the...

The service is worth a Michelin starred restaurant, it’s just unbelievable, the terrasse and restaurant were full and I requested a special service, to bring the main course right after the starter and I was sure that they wouldn’t make it, due to the overload of the terrasse but they made it. Only this argument worth 5 stars but there is more. The food is very tasty, but the pizza that I took didn’t show (visually) they greatness of the taste (my own opinion and not the opinion the other guests of my table) the tiramisu is not a blend copy at all but very tasty.

The prices for food are a bit lower than in other touristic places, but prices for drinks are way higher. Coffee is around 4€, aperol spritz is 7€ (which is quite crazy, because you can get one for 3,5€ just around the corner). Coperto is 2,5€ per person. The food was decent, but after a few hours we realized it's not digesting very well, which has not happened to us after eating in any other restaurants in Italy. In general, it's a good place to sit and enjoy the view, but if you want goof food - keep looking.
