An inconspicuous place, a little off the beaten track, but close to the river. No wild crowds here. We came here by accident while searching Google Maps for a good homemade pizza. Since we were nearby, the Maps suggested this place. You can buy pizza by the slice (€2.5/piece) or order it fresh. We chose the second option. We ordered Diavola and Ortolana. It turned out to be a great pizza. We waited about 10 minutes and watched a nice gentleman prepare the Sicilian-style pizza. The gentleman was from Catania. The dough was crispy with the characteristic thick, high-quality tomato sauce that makes the pizza juicy. The ingredients were plentiful. We had a similar pizza in Sicily.
We paid €13 for 2 pizzas, which is phenomenal value for money. There are no seats, but you get a professionally wrapped pizza to eat right on the river.
If you don't like the stiff atmosphere of a restaurant but still want a high quality pizza, this is the place for you. Highly...
Read moreI have been eating pizza from Rome, Venice, and now Verona. This is easily my top spots. To me, I am trying to decide who is better....Antico Forno in Venice, or this place. It's not as thin as Anico Forno but I didn't really mind. I'm just glad it wasn't floppy or soupy. I loved this place and will absolutely come out of my way to try this place again. This place is to go only for those who don't know and they also have single...

It is safe to say that my life is now better after trying this pizza. I had a slice of margherita and the dough was perfect, crispy on the bottom and fluffy on the top and the sauce was extraordinarily good.
I would definitely recommend...
