This was hands down the best and most memorable dining experience I had in Verona and an example of a restaurant that truly understands the meaning of hospitality. The city is a madhouse during Vinitaly so my friend and I were expecting things to be chaotic which the night of our reservation things were in fact insanely busy. Our reservation was pushed a half hour late and when we were seated, it was in the back part of the restaurant which was quite hot and slightly removed from the atmosphere of the main dining room. However, from the moment we were seated, the waiters were attentive, extremely personable and intuitively accommodating. Skills that you can’t teach anyone but rather speaks to the general culture of the restaurant. Seamless, enthusiastic service I can’t say enough about except a big shout out to Michael who brought big personality and exceptional hospitality to our entire experience. The food was also incredible. The chef puts his creative spin on traditional veronese dishes which were delicious and well thought out. You could understand the intention behind each dish which made the food something my dining companion and I were talking about throughout the meal. It was refreshing to see someone thinking outside of the box and everything we ate was a wonderful adventure. Finally, Andrea the manager and part owner is an absolute gem of person. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time at the restaurant amidst the chaos of a tiring week both for his staff and for visitors. His communication was honest and genuine, attentive and generous. He made us feel like we were at home and that is the mark for me of a restaurant that one will never forget. Thank you to the entire staff for a truly memorable experience. You’ll always be my top recommendation for anyone visiting Verona. Oh, and don't forget to check out their...
Read moreAmazing experience, both the quality of the food and the service. We came across this restaurant on Tripadvisor and saw that is was not too far located from our hotel, so we could just walk there.
Even though the restaurant had very good reviews, we didn’t know what to expect. But after all I can say that they exceeded all our expectations.
We had a very special experience. The waiter forgot to pass our order to the kitchen, so while we were enjoying our evening the waiter came to our table to ask if we would like to have dessert. We said no we are still waiting for our main course. The waiter realized he made a mistake and apologized.
It is a mistake and it shouldn’t go this way. But they immediately came into action and they brought some parmaham and different types of bread.
Though it is a mistake and it shouldn’t go this way. We really were overwhelmed by the sincerely apologies. In the end I think we got a better experience because of this.
The food is exceptionally good and the staff is very friendly. When we were leaving the restaurant we also received a small gift from the chef. It was such a nice gesture that really was like the cherry on the pie.
Thank you so much and I sincerely hope that we will visit your restaurant again sometime...

This trattoria is a little off the main tourist track but is well worth seeking out. Everything that was put on the table was delicious. And the service was excellent, friendly and attentive.
We shared an antipasto of Arancini. The rice inside was cooked in red wine and the cheese sauce the Arancini were served with was a perfect complement to that.
We each had a primi platti. My partner had a pasta with duck sauce. While the sauce was not distinctively duck flavoured it was rich and the dish had a beautiful texture. I had tortellini with a cod stuffing. Wow, what a flavour. With a simple buttery sauce, it really made the fish taste wonderful. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked.
With a salad, a half litre of house wine, water and the cover charge the bill came to €55 which is about right for the area and great value when you take into account the quality...
