This was by far the best burger I have ever consumed. We were unbelievably lucky to stumble upon this place while wandering aimlessly around Kagoshima looking for something for dinner. We headed up to the third floor and were not disappointed. If you speak terrible Japanese like us don't worry. The owner speaks English and will hook you up with some great local craft beers and the best burger you will ever eat. Everything was fresh made right in front of us. He cooked the burgers right there on his Kamodo grill right inside the bar.

If you want a great beer in Japan then this is the place.

Although the price is quite premium, it is definitely worth it. Five different beers were on offer and there are a nice range of IPAs.

I had the mushroom burger which came on a light brioche bun with a juicy patty and the perfect amount of cheese. A really delicious burger. Fries were wonderfully thin and crispy though the portion size could have been a bit more generous.

The bar has a cosy, playful atmosphere and it was definitely a nice place to relax. Staff were very kind and clearly knew how to pour a pint.

Really good place!

The burgers were very good even for international standards and the owner is very nice. He speaks english pretty well and it was nice talking to him a bit. Honestly my highlight. The local beer was fantastic and as someone who doesn't like drinking lots of beer, the small sizes available were very welcome. Makes it easy to try, even for someone who isn't a beer lover and I really recommend it! Everything was freshly made (there is a charcoal grill) so it was super crisp. Maybe the sides (fries especially) were a small portion but for me it was just right.
