This is a great place for visitors to introduce themselves Japan’s take on Italian food. We used to have a few here in Hawaii but unfortunately they have all gone. We loved it and were thrilled to find one in the very stylish AMU Plaza connected to the Kumamoto Station. The staff is incredible. All super young and taking care of business. 2024年5月19日20時30分に、若いウェイトレスが同僚に「二名様、外人です」と無礼に言いました。これは非常に失礼で、特に私が日本語を話せて「外人」が差別的で「外国人」と言うべきだと知っているからです。それを言う必要さえありません。このレストランはイタリア料理店ですが、外国人を嫌っているのは皮肉です。とてもがっかりしてウェイトレスにそのことを指摘しましたが、彼女は私を笑いました。このレストランは誰にもお勧めできません。私たちの夕方と熊本の印象を台無しにしました。何年も日本中を旅してきましたが、熊本は他の場所と比べて残念でした。このスタッフが出身地に関係なくお客様を尊重して迎えるように訓練されることを望みます。

At 8:30 PM on May 19, 2024, a young waitress rudely said to her colleague "Table for two, gaijin." This is extremely impolite, especially since I can speak Japanese and know that "gaijin" is a discriminatory word for “foreigners” and she should say "gaikokujin" instead. There was no need to even mention this term at all. The irony is that this restaurant serves Italian cuisine but seems to dislike foreigners. I was very disappointed and pointed this out to the waitress, but she laughed at me. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. It ruined our evening and impression of Kumamoto.
