Awesome Japanese Tepenyaki restaurant near Kyoto Station. We wanted an authentic Japanese experience and our server Sushil recommended some really good stuff. Made us feel comfortable by speaking Hindi, our common language from India. We were a tourist family from India & wanted to try authentic Kansai tepanyaki cuisine. My family has meat so they had the Pork & Chicken tepanyaki whereas the chef made a Veg one for me with Tofu and it was absolutely yummy, cooked right in front of us. Coupled with ginger ale. Highly recommend the Tako na karaage (Octopus fried popcorn), it was so yum we ordered one...

This place is a scam, every dish you order is charged at a premium and the portion size is enough for a toddler. If you come here to share a meal your experience will be terrible, you WILL leave hungry. Every dish has more cabbage and bean sprouts to make you feel full temporarily. The food takes a long time to come out so your time runs out quicker. It is an elaborate setup to take your money with no room to communicate your bad experience. Walk down the street to 7/11, grab some beers and all the food you like, it will still be a better experience for eating and cost...

We where looking to diner in kioto, and go in here randomly, some point to say, there is no inglish menu, BUT thats means they have most locals clients so this is great, despite no inglish menu, the staff talks perfect inglish and the first thing that they do after we siting was come to xplain the whole menu, at the end we take one of the recomended dishes, one of the best choice for sure, the meat was increíble, the soup was tasty, overall, the service, the menu, the bar, etc was a 10!! 100% recomended to come here and enjoy...
