CYNTHIA'S PIANO&PUB — Restaurant in Kyoto

Cynthia’s Piano & Pub has been in my saved location for a while after following them on Instagram. I’m glad that I’m finally able to visit Cynthia’s Piano & Pub during my trip to Kyoto. The host, Cynthia, is extremely friendly and hospitable. She recommended a Kyoto local whiskey, and it was amazing. I was not able to find that whiskey elsewhere. For my second drink, I got Cynthia’s special cocktail, and it was delicious. She gave us snacks to accompany our drinks and was also very friendly to my boyfriend, who does not drink alcohol. She made sure he had non-alcoholic beverages so he could also enjoy his time. Later that night, a guest came to play the piano, and it made the ambiance even better. I’d highly recommend going to this bar if you want a relaxing time after a busy day or just to decompress at the end...

I have to give it to Cynthia's piano pub it is the best place in Kyoto. I enjoyed myself I was there alone in Japan and that entire bar made me feel as if I belonged. That is saying something coming all the way from America being a black woman.Also being as though my father was a musician made me feel even better when someone jumped on the drums and started playing just like he would have! I am overjoyed if you ever get a chance to get to Kyoto you have to go to Cynthia's piano pub please she will make you feel at home and her clients do the same. I had such a great time at this bar! I was greeted by Cynthia herself, whom Speaks exelent english and is very friendly and conversational. The clientel was also super friendly. During my stay at the bar some of the bars patrons played live music together with Cyntia useing instruments that are readily available for those who want to play. The bar has a wide selection of Liqueur and has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Smoking is alowed, something thats getting raerer in Japan after new legislation.
