The pizza is okay, really, we ordered a margherita buffala and a capriciosa, and then we ordered one more margherita buffala, but i don’t know WHY on the second one they put parmiggiano…anyways, pizza was good.
The waiter very nice, BUT pay attention on the bill!!!!!
*They also charge you the coperta ( 300 yen per person).
There was a gap between our bill and our receipt!!! And not by mistake!
We had a total of 9500 yen according to the menu and the receipt! (coperta included), but we had to pay 10.390 yen on the bill written by hand by the waiter.
I had to ask for the receipt because they did not offer it on their own, and after stepping outside I realized there was 9500 on the receipt but 10.390 on the handwritten bill. I went back to ask why the difference. They told me after that the difference is VAT. Well, I had to pay the VAT, but they didn’t put it on the receipt, aka the don’t declare it. I pay but they don’t. They put on the receipt the tax free price, but charge you the taxes.
It was an okay pizza, but too expensive.
Really big BIG negative on the bill and receipt situation!!!
Open your eyes and ask for the receipt and check the amount on both the bill and...
Read moreThe food is amazing. We had the potato fritters, caprucciosa pizza, and the tiramisu for dessert. For drinks we had the mimoza and campari beer, the mimoza... I don't ever want just regular orange juice again. From start to finish the meal was one of the best I have had in Kyoto. The potato fritters were perfectly fried outside with a pillowy potato inside. The pizza was perfectly cooked, my fiance said if I eat all of the crust then it's good pizza, no pizza bones. The tiramisu was the best I have ever had (and we went to Rome Italy and had some there). I would 100% recommend and we are coming back! The staff was...
Read moreExcellent dinner and service. One other group was seated in the restaurant when we walked in at 6:30pm and three others by the time we left. We ordered one pizza, one lasagna, and the grilled veggies (bagna cauda) for three people. We left full, but not stuffed. Pizza took a little while, but worth the wait. Lasagna was a cheese lasagna, no red sauce which we would’ve preferred for that dish. Staff was very attentive and kind. Slightly pricy menu overall plus a ¥300 fee per person, but worth it for a night out on great...
