Stumbled upon Imo Pippi in Fushimi Inari, known for its sweet potato treats. Even though we were full from lunch, we tried the Roasted Sweet Potato with Honey Butter. The sweet potato was soft and naturally sweet, and the honey butter added a rich, creamy touch. That said, we felt the plain roasted version allowed the natural flavor to shine more. Came here for the sweet potato mont blanc and I was not disappointed.

It was in multiple layers (potato, cream, ice cream, sweet potato strings) and they combined together well. A little pricey but the taste is worth it. A bit too much for one person but perfect for two in terms of portion sizing.

Amazing service. They have a little setup to make it in front of you and ask if you want to record, wait until you’re ready, and tell you when to start. Staff is...

When I arrived I didn't know where to line up. No instructions. Are people waiting to order ? Or to receive orders ? Total confusion. The price is high and the ice cream is not super loaded. I had a similar one much better in Kurashiki. I would prefer more sweet potato into the ice cream part, less ice cream and more cream. Also there is not really a place to seat and eat peacefully. There is plenty of space on the back outside that is unused...
