55 Matchanya — Restaurant in Osaka

An honest review written on behalf of 5 people. 'The Good" - the establishment has an English menu, reasonable price and variety of food, and english speaking staff member who relied heavily on google translate and took copious notes. (!!!) Not very busy and the seating was Traditional low on cushions and low table upstairs. 'THE BAD' - Ordering seemed ok, and happy that 3 or the 5 orders were promptly delivered, together with all the drink orders. However, 2 of the remaining bbq meals seemed to take forever. Another table in the vicinity was being served regularly. After waiting approx 40mins asking where the other meals were, the tall waitress had some how NOT PLACED THE ORDER along with the other 3 meals that were long ago eaten. She apologised, however could not explain why !!! What THE .... Suggesting the order can be placed again (seriously ??) our group decided to pay for the ordered, and served meals, and drinks and left very unhappy with the experience.

Thankful that 7-11 had a good range of food to go. Not very happy, and based on this bad experience, would not recommend and wont be back. Honest review that even 2 stars...

“여행의 마지막 밤, 최고의 한 끼를 만나다”

오사카 여행의 마지막 저녁, 갑작스럽게 한식이 너무나도 그리워져 들른 한인 삼겹살집. 기대 없이 들어갔는데… 세상에, 이런 맛을 일본에서 만나게 될 줄은 정말 상상도 못했어요.

삼겹살의 두께도 적당했고, 불판에 올려지자 퍼지는 고소한 냄새에 벌써부터 마음은 설렘으로 가득!

겉은 바삭하고 속은 촉촉한 완벽한 삼겹살이 완성되더군요. 거기에 곁들여진 김치, 쌈채소, 된장찌개까지… 모든 반찬이 하나같이 진심으로 맛있었어요. 마치 한국에 있는 맛집에서 먹는 것 같은 착각이 들 정도였어요.

특히 인상 깊었던 건, 음식뿐만 아니라 따뜻한 서비스였습니다. 바쁜 와중에도 웃으며 응대해주시고, 한국말이 오가니 고향의 정을 느낄 수 있었어요.

“왜 이제야 왔을까?” 하는 아쉬움이 들 정도로, 오사카에서의 마지막 밤을 가장 완벽하게 마무리해준 곳입니다. 한국 음식이 그리울 때, 혹은 진짜 제대로 된 삼겹살이 땡길 때 무조건 방문해야 할 곳!
