Café Morning Box — Restaurant in Osaka

We were passing by on the street and I liked design of the building, so we stopped to have a look and I noticed that this is a vegan coffee place. We entered and was very surprised by the quality of desserts 🍮 vegan carrot cake and vegan pumpkin cheesecake both were extremely delicious and fresh with a very balanced taste. Moist and not too sweet with a rich taste 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 vegan soy caramel latte was delicious as well, matcha was so so. The redeeming qualities of this cafe are definitely the ambiance. It is very cute and aesthetic. However DO NOT get the matcha cheesecake, no more how appealing it looks. It tastes actually so bad. I had one bite and knew it was not for me. I asked if it was possible to exchange for the banana bread (which is the exact same price as the cheesecake) and they said since I took a nibble I would have to pay for it. Whatever all good. We had a nice coffee here. Iced coffee was small and in a wine glass. Prices were high but we were in a pricier area. The lobby area was really nicely furnished and comfortable.

Customer service was bad. They told my friend she had to leave since she wasn't ordering a drink (this info was not posted anywhere before ordering, no signs of anything). We went when there were at least five tables free so there was heaps of space for her (the place was about a quarter full).
