This experience is surreal. First of all you must find it, not that easy but I guess it's part of the fun, once you are in front of it you will see a small door that gives you access to the "garden".
Inside a very small bar opens up with plants everywhere and a real impressive amount of bottles and a nice lady and gentleman behind the bar.
They will give you a menu, of thirty pages of cocktail to choose from, but you can also go on a whim and tell the owner what you like or he will probably ask you if he sees you struggling to choose !
And then prepare to be 🤯🤯🤯 by how good it tastes. It is really nice to see a professional and dedicated master of the craft at work, and this bar shows exactly that, they make most of their own liqueurs, who would have thought you could do baguette liqueur !? well apparently you can... I suppose most of the available cocktails are personal recipes as I've never seen them anywhere else it is a very impressive selection.
It's an experience not just a cocktail.
it's a 10/10 by FAR worth every penny ! Go there now!
(Also they have a pizza Margherita...
Read moreMay be my favorite cocktail bar in Osaka. Yes we went to the #1 cocktail bar in Osaka as well (Bar Nayuta) but Bar Green Spot is different. Rather than a plug and play, catering to foreigners stopping by for the sake of saying they went, Bar GreenSpot is authentic, beautiful, peaceful, an oasis, with incredible cocktails and the most lovely, friendly, and engaging bartender / owner and partner.
It is on the 5th floor and you have to take an elevator but it is well worth it to find. We went on a Monday night at 9pm and had the whole place to ourselves for a bit until people came pouring in around 10. The owner makes his own liqueurs and syrups- they had small jars of celery vodka, peanut butter vodka, ginger infused vodka, the list goes on infusing.
It is beautifully decorated with greenery everywhere and they did well with the small space to make it feel so cozy and welcoming. I am certainly adding this bar to my list of go tos in Osaka and recommendations for friends. You will not regret making...
Read moreThis is a picturesque hidden gem in Osaka. To enter you must go through a very short door and you will be teleported into wonderland! The atmosphere is so tranquil and relaxing that we didn't want to speak louder than a whisper. Though the cover charge is ¥500/person and the cheapest drink is ¥900, everything is absolutely worth the price! You will get a complimentary mini toast with strawberry preserves with your first drink. And the bartender was excellent! The drink went down so smoothly that we didn't want to finish it! Definitely will be back for date night. Also if you are a foreigner DO NOT RUIN THE ATMOSPHERE OF THIS PLACE WITH YOUR NOISINESS. IT IS NOT A PUB. If you want that vibe I suggest The Hub, Blarney Stone, Murphy's or Balabushka. And their drinks are cheaper too. But don't come to this establishment if you don't have...
