We chanced upon this place while walking by and had to hop in because its a famous coffee chain known for their fresh toast and thicc slices :)
You can ask for English menu and the staff understands simple English. If there is a queue you will need to write you name on the waiting list and they will call your name when a table is ready.
We went there twice in a row. Though the ice coffee is a small cup at 600 yen it was good for one.
We ordered the OG Thick toast, man it was huge, good for 2 pax if you aren’t that hungry. Comes with butter and strawberry jam. Toast was warm and perfect - delicious!
We also ordered the coffee jelly for 700 Yen, cream was fresh and coffee jelly was really good and strong coffee taste, love it.
The next day we came here for early dinner and ordered their Katsu sandwich and fish burger. Both are delish! The fish burger was bigger than my face 🤣

Read moreA lovely Japanese coffee franchise. This branch is actually on the outside of the shopping mall but there is signs in the eatery area that can direct you to it.
The shop has a great waiting system. You enter how many people waiting and you take a ticket and wait for you number to be called. Their ticket system has multiple languages and there are seats for waiting.
We arrived during afternoon tea time and waited for about 10mins and was directed to our seat. The cafe has both solo booths and booths for bigger groups. They also have an English menu upon request.
Interior was cozy and dim, mimicking old school Japanese cafes and service was nice. They give you a nice hot towel to wipe your hands. By the time we arrived sadly most of the afternoon tea cakes were gone however, their blends of coffee tasted great and overall the store is a nice place to take a break from your shopping and site seeing...
Read moreAnother location in the Osaka Namba area that has been around for many years, and for good reason too. I attribute their longevity to their consistently good food they dish out to the awaiting customers. Komeda is famous for their sandwiches so I decided to partake of the "katsu curry sandwich", with a side of a Japanese classic, melon soda. The curry and pork katsu filling were fantastically seasoned and mouth-watering delicious. The bread was equally great too as it also complemented the dish well. Overall, a great experience, and I would recommend this place to all after a...
