I decided to try their famous omu rice, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The dish was beautifully presented, with a perfectly cooked omelette on top of a flavorful and well-seasoned rice. The combination of the creamy omelette and the savory rice created a delightful burst of flavors in every bite. Another dish I tried was the curry katsu, and it was nothing short of satisfying. The katsu was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the curry sauce that accompanied it was rich and aromatic. Looked up ‘omurice’ and this place appeared within less than a minute from us. Walked in and was greeted by quite an older lady and was seated promptly upstairs. A range of options of rice dishes. One dish was the omurice with 3 beef skewers and the other curry beef with 5 beef skewers, we ordered some side dishes - vegetables as that’s hard to come by and a serving of the chicken wings. Nipped to Osaka for our universal studios fix and searched for omurice. A notable review said: ‘if you like tomato taste, you’ll love it.’ I couldn’t agree more.
