Mugen Ramen (Shinsaibashi) is easily one of the best ramen spots I’ve been to in Osaka! I’ve gone almost 5 times, and every visit has been consistently great. The ramen is super flavorful, fresh, and very affordable, making it an incredible value for the quality.

The noodles are on the thinner side, which I personally love, and there’s a great selection of toppings and sauces at the table to customize your bowl. The gyoza is also delicious, and they even have yuzu ice cream for dessert!

The staff is friendly, there’s free Wi-Fi, and although there can be a line, it moves quickly, and the service is fast too. I brought two friends along and they loved it just as much.

Definitely recommend, a must-visit ramen shop in...

Obligatory PSA, I became ill after eating the spicy ramen (upset stomach, nausea, etc. without getting into to much detail). My wife was spared as she only had a couple sips of mine. Not sure the cause, sanitation, bad hygiene, bad practices, but something from here caused it because this was my first and only meal of the day. As for the flavors, the spicy was ok and the rich bone broth was quite good (combining the 2 actually was on point). The noodles were just OK noodles. The gyōza were really good, and if for some reason I were to go here again, they would be the only thing I'd get. Staff was fine to us but seemed a little cold to the people beside us. There are definitely better ramen...

One of the best ramen shops in the Shinsaibashi shopping district. The ramen noodles are perfectly chewy and tender, served in a rich, aromatic broth that has been simmered for hours using bones, giving it a deep, savory sweetness. The dish comes with melt-in-your-mouth chashu pork that's been slow-cooked until tender, and a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg with a creamy, runny yolk.
