I went on an adventure to Kuromon Market to look for dango and I found this store that ended up being a gem. They had a lot of different confectionaries. They had all kinds of daifuku, different dangos, mochis, warabi mochi, and just a lot of Japanese sweets in general. It was really fun going through everything and seeing what they had.

5 stars for their mango mochi, which they don’t always have. At 580 JPY, it’s one of their most expensive mochi, but it’s so so good. The mango fruit is so ripe and juicy to the point that it’s basically oozing out of the bottom of its soft mochi wrapper.

Their melon mochi, 430 JPY, is also quite good, as it contains a juicy chunk of sweetened honeydew. Their blueberry mochi has full blueberries in it, very much like Benkyodo in San Francisco (rip). Their yuzu mochi is a bit tart, which was nice. Their chestnut mochi is fine.

Good Daifuku, terrible customer service. Already not a great interaction but cashier got even more annoyed at me for not understanding the pricing. Attitude is not appreciated for such a small mistake. I still paid for it.

They sell you a box of 6 Daifuku where there’s no price difference in the more expensive ones. I thought marron would be ¥200 also as it was inside the box on display and it said each one is ¥200.

Reading other low reviews it seems like foreigners get the same treatment. Good job😂, your business depends on...
