R RIVERSIDE GRILL & BEER GARDEN — Restaurant in Osaka

First time in Japan i experienced no hospitality at all. We ordered drinks and food. It started raining. Wanted to sit on the River side so we could sit dry. (All the tables were empty). They wanted us to wait in the rain for our food to be ready, that we also could eat in the rain. Instead of sitting sheltered on a empty terrace. They just laughed at our faces. Really sad. So we just left with no drinks and food. Wasted money. Better things to do in Japan than eating in the rain with that poor service.

The only words they know "only for bbq" .. what means actually no beer garden. You can sit there if you bbq. If you order drinks and snacks. "Thanks for your money, but you...

Super lovely spot by the river and the rose garden. For the price though the food was average and the service was terrible.

We arrived at the time we’d booked for but the staff had our reservation down for 30 minutes before we arrived. We showed them that their booking time was incorrect and they apologized but said they had a booking after our time slot so charged us from the earlier time anyway (it was a 2 hour buffet - which we only had 1.5 hours to enjoy). Staff seemed to care very little about the job and no interest in resolving the timing issue or providing any...

What poor business ethic. The sign clearly says the restaurant closes at 11pm, last food order at 10pm. We went out of our way there thinking it would be a neat experience in a great location. We showed up at 8:40 pm on a Saturday night for BBQ, only to be told they stopped offering BBQ at 8:30pm. They didn't seem to care at all they were contradicting their own signs, and really it was quite stupid of them to pass up on 20,000yen. Their loss! Go somewhere else that actually appreciates...
