Tempura Ebinoya Namba Walk — Restaurant in Osaka

We have almost been here in Osaka for three weeks now... Besides from some dry karaage, the food here has been amazing!

I guess that our luck ran out, because this was some bad tempura!

You have to order from a machine. We didn't know that guy have to put money in first, before you can order. Usually, it's the other way around, right?

We ordered three different set menus with tempura. The kitchen didn't seem that interested in sending out food with the same quality. So I got the old soggy and soft tempura, and my wife and kids got the crispier ones.

Look at the pictures. The ones with tempura that are browner are the old and soggy ones.

So, this was quite a letdown. Stay away and save your money. There's a lot of great tempura out there,...

I love food here especially tempura set with mentaigo! I ate them every few days in a different branches.

For this one, pretty easy! You just need to buy a ticket from machine and give it to staff. Take a seat then wait for food!

The location is convenient, located at Namba Walk which it closes to the underground entrance.

Down side is cigarette as next door they always smoke which I am allergic to smoke. You can scent it very strongly if you sit around...

My usual lunch spot in Osaka, once fantastic, now falls short. While the service remains consistently excellent, the food quality has noticeably declined. It's lost its former appeal. Additionally, the inconvenience of only accepting cash adds to the disappointment. Sadly, I'll have to explore other options as I don't foresee returning here...
