Bake Cheese Tart in Tokyo is a must-try, especially if you’re a fan of rich, creamy desserts. I first fell in love with these in San Francisco, and finding them in Tokyo felt like a dream—only better, because they have more flavors here! That said, nothing beats the original cheese tart. It’s truly the star. I did try the raspberry one, which was okay, but for me, the plain cheese tart is perfection.
One important tip: this particular Bake location is inside the train station—not outside, even if your map tries to tell you otherwise. Don’t exit the station or you’ll get lost. It’s underground, right under the train line, and super easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. There’s no seating, so you’ll have to either eat it standing nearby or take it with you. We stayed in front just to finish ours and toss the wrapper—convenient and quick.
If you’re only going to try one flavor, make it the original cheese. It’s creamy, slightly tangy, and melts in your mouth—truly unforgettable. You’ll see other flavors that look tempting, but trust me, start with the classic. You’ll taste the magic from the...

Right out of the train, you can already smell the butter and the crust just MMMMM 🥰🥰🥰 I absolutely loved it! Even my parents enjoyed it because it wasn’t too sweet or too sour from the cheese aspect. The three of us finished a dozen HAHAHA 9 years later, it was just as amazing as when I first tried it and that says something about the quality of their product!!!

The exit it leads to is for Otemachi, Marunouchi North Exit & Yaesu.
I hope this helps and that your search for the best best BEST cheese tart will be a lot easier than it was...

Once you take your first bite the hot firm pastry base gives way to this amazing soft gooey textured cheese that just compliments the pastry so well. These tarts are absolutely gorgeous, we could have easily polished off a dozen...but we had to save ourselves as we know there's plenty more Japanese cuisine has to offer so we had to...
