At Coffee Times, time stands still -- ideal '60s-'70s Shinjuku film location. A laid-back safe haven (if you smoke) to talk, work, read, whatever. Zero non-smoking policy. If you can't take a few puffs for effect, at least put a lighter on the table. You don't want to look like an enemy of polite society. Food is traditional kissaten fare. Not that bad, not that good. But you don't die of hunger. Avoid any menu item you recognize (spaghetti, pizza, etc.); it won't be recognizable....
