Spaghetti no Pancho in Shinjuku is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The entrance is probably the narrowest I’ve ever seen—barely enough space for one person to stand at the vending machine to place your order! It adds a quirky charm that you really only find in Japan.

Ordering was a bit confusing at first, but one of the friendly staff members squeezed onto the narrow stairway to patiently guide me through the set menu process. Once we figured it out, everything went smoothly.

The atmosphere is also something special with old school Japanese jams going after you order from the machine.
