Read moreA truly incredible dining experience in Tokyo. When we first found the place they were busy and every seat was filled, but they didn't want to turn us away and we had seats in 20 minutes. This is good for a restaurant of this caliber, the service is remenicient of a michelen starred establishment. As for the food, the lamb I had was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned, marinated, and properly portioned with sauce. My party only had good things to say through mouthfuls of food, after we were finished the owner came out and brought Greek tea and calamari, and chatted with us about their history and ours. All in all a very humbling experience from the food to the connections made, thank you Fili for accommodating the group of 5 foreigners, their bags and dispelling common cultural myths about foreigners. As seen in by a dozen people's review here, the proprietress has an attitude--that is, she can be very unfriendly, if not utterly rude, to her customers. In addition, as you can see in her responses to those comments, she's very DEFENSIVE of her BAD PRACTICES and DISservices, and so one can safely guess that she is not intended to make changes for better.
