Great pizza spot in case you are missing home. It's a mom and pop pizza shop that was established in 1996 with an old school American aesthetic. The owners are incredibly nice and explained the menu items in English and gave us some neat recommendations. The pizzas are small thin crust pies that are made in the Roma style. If you are feeling hungry, definitely get the Capriccio or Ingrand. The Capriccio has an egg in the middle surrounded by mushrooms with some pork sausage on the pizza. The Ingrand has curry in the middle surrounded by pork sausage. Personally I loved the Ingrand since it had more flavor due to the curry. But of course you can't go wrong with a regular margerita. Their garlic toast is really tasty and I highly recommend it to start along with the sausage sampler which the owner confirmed was entirely made from pork. Overall we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and the place had a nice vibe to it. Definitely stop by to try if in the...
Read moreAmazing! And open late (until 23:30/11:30pm). The two people working there - we think they were a married couple, were both so sweet. The man speaks amazing English & the woman also teaches cross-stitch - so if you see any in the store, she made them! The one I noticed if the 2015 little sheep by the front door SO CUTE! The menu is limited but has what you need - appetizers, main pizzas, drinks (alcoholic & non) and a dessert. Atmosphere was so nice - so cozy and comfortable. The music they play is old-school/oldies/diner/beachy classics so it was really cool. We had 2 pizzas, 3 alcoholic drinks, 1 app and a non-alcoholic. The Cheese Fondue was so yummy (and it already comes with Garlic Toast). The Carpriccio pizza with the egg in the middle was delicious! My Cassis Orange was sweet & good. The whole experience was great and we'd love...
Read moreFirst he explained what the pizzas were which was a nice touch as I don't know a lot about the Roman pizza names. The Banana almond one seemed really nice but for some reason he wanted me to avoid that for being too sweet. I let him dissuade me from that one so not sure if that's my fault or his as I think I would have enjoyed that more than the pizza I had. I don't know why you would put something on the menu but not want people to have it, oh well! The Genovese pizza itself was ok. It was very thin and crunchy but maybe this is how pizzas are supposed to be? I ate most of it but it was dripping in oil or butter and was completely covered in basil. I regret not having the Banana almond one but I don't think I will go back there. Oh by the way, it's cash only. Strange but maybe their machine...
