Edit to review: Went here again and well, there were 2 tables free, nothing about it said 'reserved' and yet the staff didn't even come talk to me and say whats going on. They just looked at me strangely, like "what is this guy doing here?" TO SIT AND EAT LUNCH OF COURSE

I definitely cannot recommend this place. The staff can't even speak English nor Japanese.

First the good things: The Nan was fluffy and buttery - quite delicious, but still not the best I've ever had. I had the Keema curry and spinach chicken curry and those were extremely flavourless. One of the worst curries I've had in my opinion. Still, together with the Nan, it wasn't that bad. Plus, for 1100yen I can't really say anything. It's a great cost for value. You get a salad, drink, all you can eat nan/rice, two curries and some fruit.

Anyway, on to the bad things: The place is extremely small and they'd sit you next to other people at the same table which is not convenient. The staff who served me was... Not smelling nicely. Sometimes wearing a mask can't hurt. and the worst was by far the fact that you can't use QR payments or even credit cards. Come on, this is Shinjuku, Tokyo and you can't use digital payments/cards? I didn't have cash on me so I had to go and withdraw money and go back to pay. Really annoying.

I'm from the suburbs in Kanagawa and I can tell you that the Indian food served outside of Tokyo is miles better. And this place just proved the...

A great place to have curry! They offer additional pieces of Nan with your meal, which is fantastic. I tried the chicken and mutton curry, which tasted lovely The lunch set menu is 1000 yen, which includes a piece of tandoori chicken, salad, dessert, drink and 2 types of curry! What a bargain! First of all, the food was decent. That's about it though. Service was poor, no greeting when we entered, no menu provided, order misunderstood several times, and overall unfriendly. Food was delivered promptly, but for example the "dessert" was just canned fruit. Sad. Also, I hate to be that guy, but as service staff please ensure you don't have foul BO.
