If you are foreign, stay away. We're staying right near here. Went the first night and had an okay experience. Food is great, ordering on the kiosk was fine, there's an English option. When we got our food they didn't give us the side of rice or the side of pork. I had to ask then was given a bowl and told the rice was self serve and was never given the pork. It was very busy, we chalked it up to a mistake. Moved on. Tonight we placed our order online. Went to pick it up and the lady kept yelling at us to order take out on the kiosk. We showed her our order confirmation multiple times and used Google translate to tell her we already paid and got confirmation our order was ready for pickup. She continued to act like she couldn't understand and got even more rude. Another customer stepped in and spoke to her telling her the same thing, she responded something to him, he gave her a disgusted look and didn't say anything else. Again, we showed her the confirmation and had the same exact conversation exchange. She turned around and took our already bagged up order off the shelf and handed it to us. It had been sitting there the whole time. She was 100% trying to get us to stupidly pay twice. There's 100s of fantastic food options in this city where the service is impeccable. This place is not...

I'm not claiming to be an expert but i've had and appreciate good ramen. This place belongs squarely in that category. Thick fatty broth, good noodles (both thin and thick). The gyoza here is also good.
If you are staying nearby, I'd go here. Also don't put too much stock in google reviews, it's not the site that japanese people use. This place would easily be...
Read moreA chain ramen similar to Ichiran, but is known for their Ikkei ramen, a pork and shoyu based broth. The broth is thick and creamy topped with tender melting pork. The noodle is different from the typical ramen, it has a thicker and very chewy texture. The black garlic tonkotsu ramen is more like the Ichiran type of ramen. The noodles are thin and the broth is very flavourful and packed full of flavour. You order via the kiosk in the shop and pass your ticket to the staff after getting your seat. You then can choose how strong the base of your broth is and how cooked your noodle is. The gyoza is also great, the skin is crispy and chewy, while the filling is...
