No frills style... you use a tablet that has English option to order your food... and great Beer on tap!! And SUCH an AWESOME deal! 2200 yen for 2 bowls of ramen, order of 6 pcs gyoza and 2 beer on tap! Highly Recommend! Only gave 4Star for atmosphere because there was a child SCREAMING and Kicking at the top of their lungs the entire time (no fault to the establishment) but it really rang my ears the whole time we were eating (about 35min) cause they were directacross us...and mom only took child out once for about 2minutes which he quieted but started to scream allover again as soon as they sat bk down. He clearly didn't want to be there and never stopped until we paid and left and they were still in there with child...
Read moreI don’t get what the hype as with this restaurant… so many people lining up outside, so I thought it might be good. Turns out it’s just Spicy miso Ramen LOL. First the ticket machine was absolute chaos with like 1000 buttons to choose from with no English and no help from the staff, good luck to all foreigners. The staff aren’t friendly, maybe they could be, but definitely not when the shop is busy. You’re not really supposed to take photos inside as they want people to eat and leave ASAP. The noodle itself was very bland, but just numbing spice. Overall, I would not recommend. Unless you just want your mouth to feel that numbing sensation, but then I rather go to proper...

I think there's a balance between spicy and taste, where one forgoes the other on the scale
I tried the level 9 spicy (10 being the max) and albeit the spiciest food item I tried in Japan, I found it underwhelming on the Scoville taste scale. Not only that, I think that to the general domestic audience, the preparation of this dish has in mind that this level of spice is more of a challenge rather than a cuisine to be enjoyed - so it tastes and looks like I'm pulling white noodles out of hot/red oil - and tastes...
