It's my first time visiting this place and that is a surprise! It is a restaurant specialized in seared / deep fried items. Very most of customers are local people after work. A salad with 4 options of sauce is first served. Dedicated spices and sauces on each of their seared items and the waiter explained the suggested way of eating to us in simple english. The aroma in seared items are very strong. Fried sweet potato with a bread like texture of coat is tasty. It is a good entry experience toward Japanese seared (bonito) items. Super thick slices but amazingly tender katsuo with signature smokey flavors from the straw grill is the must try signature dish - we went for an additional plate since it was so good. You can enjoy other straw flame grilled dishes like steak and unagi pressed sushi. Go for the counter seats if you want to see the flames go up close by. Will definitely go again and this would be a nice place to bring friends visiting Japan who want to try a more niche genre of...
