I wasn't sure I'd be able to get a table since I didn't have a reservation and was dressed very casual, but I easily got a seat when I arrived just as they opened for Friday dinner. The whole experience was wonderful. Most of the people spoke english very well and the menu was available in english as well. I had the G10 level Kobe sirloin, the A5 grade has grades 8-12 in it for reference, and 11 and 12 are rarely available they said. There are awards all over the walls of the main seating room and they really deserve them. It was extremely reasonably priced compared to many other restaurants that serve Kobe. I know people say this, but the Kobe beef literally melted in my mouth. Melted. It was insane. The whole experience was really once in a lifetime for me and I'll never forget it. It was difficult to find and after spending on a very expensive taxi ride to get there, they told us they were sold out of the type of Kobe beef filet that we wanted to order, they then tried to sell us a far more expensive cut than what we confirmed was on their menu. We ended up spending over $700 on mediocre steaks that included some side dishes that were never fully explained. The service was rushed and chef hardly spoke to us.
