Kudaka in Asakusa, it's one of my favorite in Tokyo. I've been in here in Tokyo more than 10 years and There is always something to look forward to when dining at teppanyaki restaurants. Perhaps it is the stylistic execution of grilling that we get to witness, or maybe it is just the fact that we can be involved in choosing the type of ingredients us wish to enjoy in our meal.
In my review, aiming to bring affordable teppanyaki to the masses, diners would be pleased to know that there is a wide selection of ingredients up for picking. Aside from a la carte items such as seafood, chicken and sirloin steak, we can also choose to enjoy special sets.
Hope you enjoy and like it. Can't wait to come back...

We went there for Lunch and they offered several lunch sets with different Wagyu beef cuts, Okinawa pork, Japanese style Rice Omelet or the pork and beef Hamburg.
If you have a reservation or if you are lucky then you can also go for the more expensive Foie Grass and Wagyu course or the Spiny Lobster and Wagyu course.
Foreigners don't have to worry here because the staff is well versed in English and will explain everything about your food. The Wagyu beef was nice and tender and was accompanied by a nice and crunchy salad, rice & miso soup.

Every dish was placed before us with care, and each one more delicious than the last. We had the entire place to ourselves, it was a small and intimate setting on the 7th floor. The elevator up was even fun as you could look out around the street. Sitting at the counter we were able to watch the chef skillfully prepare each item. His movements were beautiful and he was very friendly. It was quiet, peaceful, and delicious. Thank you so much for a meal we will...
