In the heart of Ginza, where every corner exudes elegance, Ladurée beckons with its timeless charm and delightful treats. As my wife and I stepped into this inviting haven, Ladurée's signature green stood out like a beacon of joy amid the bustling streets.
Settling in, we embarked on a flavorful journey where tradition seamlessly merged with the contemporary. Our adventure kicked off with a duo of macarons: the classic Vanille and the enchanting Sakura.
The Vanille macaron, filled with cream infused with Madagascar's finest vanilla essence, paid homage to timeless flavors. Each bite was a symphony of sweetness and nostalgia, evoking lazy afternoons and childhood dreams.
However, it was the Sakura macaron that truly captivated us. Delicately crafted with a cream that whispered of cherry blossoms and kissed by champagne's effervescence, it transported us to a springtime paradise. With every nibble, we were whisked away to a world of sakura-filled bliss, where laughter danced on the breeze.
In this charming space, Ladurée spins a new tale with each delicacy offered, honoring its rich heritage while embracing the vibrancy of the present. Ginza, Ladurée's Japanese birthplace, serves as the perfect backdrop for this culinary escapade—a fusion of past, present, and the promise of endless delights.
Whether you're a fan of classic flavors or an adventurer seeking new culinary horizons, Ladurée in Ginza guarantees an experience that transcends time—a symphony of taste, tradition, and the beauty...
Read morewent to a café on 22th October with a friend. The café was full and we were given a qr code to see how many people were ahead of us. We were told that the wait could take an hour. We waited that time in the waiting area. Eventually the website said the queue had been cancelled and we went to tell the staff. We were told that our seat had been cancelled because we were not there on time, even though we had been sitting in the waiting room the whole time. However, they had noticed this, but instead of coming to tell us it was our turn, they said something in Japanese that we didn't understand. They said only in Japanese, but they only said this afterwards and not at the beginning when we went to make the reservation, so we got a very foreign feeling that the café staff don't accept foreigners. The staff's excuse to us was that we would wait even longer for the next seat to become available, so we decided to leave because of the rude behaviour towards us. The staff did not try to serve us in English or arrange a table for us. I expect much more from a place of this high standard, and I certainly do not recommend this place because of the way customers are treated. The staff didn't even apologize and seemed relieved...
Read morePlease train your staff to speak English as this is an international brand. Also, better mention in entrance that you don't accept kids - easier for everyone. I came with my 4 yo son and I asked for water to refill his bottle, and staff refused (wanted to check with her manager first but then I just said never mind). The only plus point was initially very helpful with my son's anaphylaxis - checking with kitchen about french fries handling, so we can order one. But then I ordered coffee viennois, only normal coffee came. Whipped cream came after I asked. I ordered iced chocolate, and chocolate ice cream came, when I asked if it is egg-free and waiter said no, I wanted to cancel as no one is going to eat it. She then reluctantly take it back with sour face. Outside while waiting, gave snack to my son and was told off as well. So yeah sorry, not sure what kind of training was given. Paris and NY branches are...
