We were looking for an Omakase experience during our trip to Tokyo. Just next to our hotel we found a modest door with a beautiful design. We got a flyer and decided to book the experience. It is by phone only, the staff speak good English, and we were able to book it with no problem for four people.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, everything was perfect. They guided us to the table and asked for drinks. We decided to drink wine and sake, and each selection of drinks was good.

During the experience, the chef was incredibly amicable and full of energy. Although there was a bareer language, the staff was there to explain each dish, it's origins and how it was made. The chef knows how to impress.

About the dishes, the journey starts with textures, then with intense flavours, some dishes have a background history, and others so creative, the chef was able to mix olive oil and butter into some traditional dishes of the Japanese cuisine.

The experience was AMAZING. This restaurant will complete 100 years and is a must go if you...

The omakase was a really outstanding experience. We wanted to have something special on our last day of vacation and this was it.

We were a little nervous going in as we speak zero Japanese but the chef was very personable and did an amazing job preparing and explaining every dish. Our waitstaff were also very attentive and sweet- they took the time to describe the drink menu as well as the restaurant history. Despite the language barrier, everything was well explained and we enjoyed every minute.

All the dishes were delicious and showcased a variety of texture and flavor. I would recommend it to anyone- a...

What an amazing meal. We happened to book the place the day before they were celebrating their 100 year anniversary by chance. The owner greeted us and made us feel right at home (he happened to be dining with his friends at the other end of the counter).

Beyond the hospitality the food was incredible and our sushi chef was so great. She got so happy every time we told her something was delicious (which happened after every bite).

We were looking for a nice place for our final meal in Tokyo and this was the perfect spot. Hope to go...
