The first employee who greeted us were scratching her head while frowning. She went ahead and just pointed us our seats and left us. My friend and I were confused because she just left immediately and we didn’t see exactly where to seat. She went back to us when she saw we were still standing and said impatiently, and rather rudely, where we were supposed to sit. Another employee guided us through our dining experience. She wasn’t friendly either but at least she used a proper Keigo to us. Though, that same employee were all smiles and happy talking to a white foreigner customer. When we were going to pay, the same employee who greeted us were the one who dealt with our payment. Her attitude were the same, unfriendly and frowning. I just asked her where is the proper exit because it was unusual for us that the restaurant’s exit and entrance are separate. A good employee should’ve guided us through the exit. The restaurant is not busy. There were only fee customers. A saw her talking to another employee before we went to the counter. But she just rolled her eyes and pointed at the other side of the room. I did not thank her nor the other employees for their assistance and good attitude because it was non-existent. I do not think that we were the rude one either because we just accepted their rudeness and mistakes with tolerance. When we chose to dine here, we also expect for a good customer experience.
