The Mermaid — Restaurant in Tokyo

I recently visited the Mermaid and had an amazing experience. The tunes playing in the background were fantastic, creating a great ambiance. The wide variety of sake, beer, and food options were impressive and definitely satisfied my cravings.

This charming pub definitely has a British vibe to it. We listened to Queen and a few other bands from Britain. But we particularly stopped in because they had a recent Thursday Night Football on TV. Then, the channel was changed to watch the Japanese women's volleyball team take on Brazil. It was a valiant effort, but Brazil prevailed. We had a lot of fun drinking, rocking out and watching sports with the people here. And more fun, we taught them about some other classic Rockstars like Metallica and Ozzy. "CRAZY! But that's how it goes!"

Been staying in the akasaka district for 4 days Stumbled on the bar while walking around our 1st night sat outside had a few drinks went back the other 2 nights, the staff are lovely and very friendly especially Haada(sorry if spelt wrong) she popped out occasionally chatted with us helped us practice our japanese a little(we are scottish) also the young lady from Vietnam and the male bar men were so nice, highly recommend this bar if your in the district would drink here every night if I was staying in tokyo if you want to just have a drink and...
