The restaurant is very shocking.

I have tried it twice and was disappointed both times.

They could not be bothered to make the table for dinner.

The service was shockingly bad. I had to remind them many times for basic restaurant duties, laying the table, bringing a menu, taking the order, can you not bring the main course the same time as the starter /soup can you please clear the table (after waiting 30 mins after finishing mains) etc….

So many staff are just standing around and you have to get their attention. Wow.

The ‘banana protein smoothie’ is basically milk with banana syrup. I watched him make it and was shocked.

I give this place 5 stars for the flavor and volume of the food. The staff was also extremely polite. Do not forget to visit the Gotenyama Garde(n) just outside the restaurant after dining if daylight remains.

My only complaint for the restaurant is that we had to line up behind the office workers buying sandwiches from the deli shop (it was lunch time) to pay the bill, which was rather long at the time.

Also of note is that the wheelchair accessible restroom is too far from the restaurant to be of use, and the door to it was...

Everything is served in a beautiful array and you get a great assortment of bottomless hot or cold teas to choose from. This is a great date spot, but be mindful that you get a max of 2 hours to stay there. It’s a great place to return to, as the menu is always rotating by season. Reservations are required and I believe they require at least a few days notice. Highly...
